As we approach 100 years after the Gallipoli Campaign, Life Saving Victoria has decided to establish a database of Service Records of the men and women who served, and were members of the lifesaving movement.
We do not have on our club records information about military service of our club members. If you were or anyone in your family is or has been in the Military Services and also a member of our Lifesaving Club at any time and would like your name or names of family members to be added to the above database could you please fill in the Military_Information_Sheet (Click to open) with as much information as you can and return to membership@frankstonlsc.org.au and I will forward the information to the database Michele Thompson Memberships
Skills for Growth Program Frankston Life Saving Club will be participating in the Victorian Government – Skills For Growth, workforce development program. We will be supplying the following details of patrolling club members over 18 years to the specialist assigned to work with the club. – First Name, Last Name, Date Of Birth, Year joined FLSC and highest academic achievement (if we have these on our club records.) The purpose of this is to establish a customized training and development plan for our club and refer to members of accredited training courses. If members choose to undertake any of the accredited training courses they may be eligible for the Victorian Training Guarantee if they are upskilling their qualification. If eligible the Victorian Government will provide funding to support the training. If you are a club member over 18 but not a patroller, and you also wish to have your details forwarded please let me know on the contact details below by Friday 27th Jan. If you are a patroller and you do not want your information forwarded to this group please contact Michele Thompson via email to membership@frankstonlsc.org.au by Friday 27th Jan and I will remove your name from the list. - Competition Carnival Dates for Season 2011/12 - available below.
